American Airlines AAdvantage MileUp℠ Card

My Personal Opinion:

This is a good entry level card with a $0 annual fee for someone looking to get a quick start into the American Airlines AAdvantage program. The 10,000 mile bonus and $50 credit won’t get you far in terms of a free flight, but it could be a nice addition if you just need a few more miles in your account. My personal suggestion would be to get the Citi / AAdvantage Platinum Select World Elite Mastercard that comes with more miles,  a $0 annual fee the first year, and a free bag on American Airlines for you and up to 4 people.

Features:
Earn 10,000 American Airlines AAdvantage® bonus miles and receive a $50 statement credit after making $500 in purchases within the first 3 months of account opening.

2x points on eligible American Airlines purchases and grocery store purchases, including grocery delivery services. 1x points on all other purchases.

Save 25% on inflight food and beverage purchases.

Annual Fee:
$0

Fine Print:
Statement credit and American Airlines AAdvantage® bonus miles are not available if you have had an American Airlines AAdvantage MileUp℠ Card opened or closed in the past 24 months.
