There are many people who dread a day of travel. Usually you have to wake up early and choose your breakfast from the old remaining food in your fridge because you don’t want to go grocery shopping just before a trip. Then you meticulously pack the car jammed full with luggage just to unpack it again at the airport and carry it until you can’t feel your arms anymore. Normally the hours leading up to a flight is a time of hurry-up just to sit and wait in an uncomfortable chair at a crowded gate.
But what if I told you there was another option? What if the
time before your flight was filled with free snacks and beverages (sometimes
adult beverages), a quiet area to relax, free wi-fi, and comfortable seating?

This is where the coveted Airport Lounge comes into play. There are some airlines such as United, American, and Delta, that have their own lounges at some of their busy hubs, but there are also lounges you can access at certain locations where the only thing needed to enter is owning a certain credit card. That’s right, the lounges not just for those business people who travel 7 days a week and accrue 1 bazillion miles each year. Simply owning a credit card such as the American Express Platinum Card will gain you entrance and some extra pampering in their amazing set of Centurion Lounges.
If you want access to the American Airlines Admirals Club then check out the Citi / AAdvantage Executive card. If it’s the Delta Sky Club you’re looking to enjoy, then the credit card you need is the Delta Reserve Credit Card. The other major airline that has their own set of airport lounges is United Airlines with their United Club. Owners of the United MileagePlus Club Card will get you unlimited access to this desired space.
So what’s your fancy? Do you desire to enjoy a more relaxing
space before and/or after each flight? Now you have a secret that most frequent
travelers don’t want you to know that a simple credit card can get you the same
access as those who spends 1000’s of hours in the sky.
